Sep 08, 2019·Some people bevel-cut two 45 degree angles on the end of a board to form a point, and clamp that to their bandsaw fence as a resaw guide. To use those resaw guides, just attach them to the fence, and arrange it so the point or peak of the curve is just in front of the cutting edge of the blade, perhaps 1/4 inch or so.
Dec 31, 2017·A cut that my 14" can make with the best resaw blade for its size takes 20 seconds, whereas the same cut with the 24" running the best resaw blade made for that size takes 3 seconds, with no loss in quality of cut (why I quickly sold all my resaw blades for the 14" machine after running the 24" the first day).
I would have to say that you are asking too much from a bandsaw blade. Re-sawing is basically a cross-grain cut, so you aren't going to get a perfect cut straight from the saw. Fast is not clean and even the cleanest cut is going to need planing or sanding. For 1/8" thick pieces, a drum or belt sander is going to be the best.
